Snow princess make up
Getting dressed up for the holidays is another way to get yourself in a festive mood. I love having a Christmas dress that I wear only once a year. I know it’s an extravagance but it makes the day feel extra special for me. Every two or three years I buy a new dress for my daughter to wear at holiday time too. It starts our special holiday day off with the ritual of dressing in our special dresses. Here is a fun way to finish off your special look for when you are ready to join your friends and families.
Your life is your most powerful art. See you at the boutique.

The flowers remind me of Frieda’s infamous hairdo that she defiantly wore to to represent the traditions of her people.
The Day of the dead is a traditional Mexican holiday to remember and celebrate our ancestors.

Primed in bold colours, with all the subtlety laid on in layers. Her work nods to impressionists like Monet and the group of Seven but offers it’s very own distinct contemporary and feminine eye. Already housed in the collections of top politicians and companies like Bombardier and Hydro Quebec, this well affiliated artist’s work is virtually guaranteed to exponentially acquire value. If ever you thought of dabbling in the potentially lucrative business of art collecting this is the artist to buy. A limited selection of Madelaine’s paintings are available for viewing at the boutique.
Made from a sheer Italian mesh, this little number can be super dressy and pairs perfectly to navy and indigo. The print makes me think of painterly brushstrokes from an impressionist artist. Cover yourself from the sun without overheating at a summer wedding. Wear it with jeans. New and delightful, this cardigan is a great travel companion.
Petals Pop Cards are made by Montreal mom, Jackie Bassette. She plants, grows, presses and places each petal at her Montreal home near Jean Talon market.
Each card is blank inside leaving you free to pour your heart out in your own words to your friends.

Towers and pyramids of books pressing petals are all over Jackie’s home where she creates these fun and pretty cards. Send a creation from Jackie’s garden to one of your friends.
Woven from 95% post consumer material, used grain sacks are collected, cleaned, ground and melted into rolls of recycled plastic, printed with Blue Q’s super fantastic graphics, cut and sewn into bags of all shapes and sizes available at boutique Katrin Leblond. 1% of the sales of the bag shown above supports the conservation work of The Nature Conservancy. Blue Q guarantees a minimum contribution of $100,000! This company is an example of one of our very few exceptions in which we felt the product and philosophy allowed us to accept importing the product and adding it to our mostly locally created collection.
You can carry your lunch in style for $12.
There is something really magical about popping this great big flower open in the middle of a rain shower. It instantly brings brightness to a gray day. I feel like I am offering a moment of surprise and wonder to the people around me when I pop mine open. I love the quality of the mechanisms: the smooth slide and satisfying pop as it snaps open. I love the feeling of the wooden handle and the scalloped edge finishing. I also love the price. At $37 dollars I think it is a steal for the numerous moments of fantasy it offers and for its fabulous halo of petals. Get yours at the store now! Quantities are limited and the demand is now.
